Training Tips

• Look at every situation from your dog's point of view.
• Always keep your dog with you – in your site.
      This will enable you to praise or redirect accordingly.
• Catch your dog doing something right!
• Praise your dog with sincere enthusiasm each time he or she is     acting good!
• Use a calm yet happy voice to guide your dog each step of the way.
• Never hit, yell or tease your dog.
• Use delicious human food, healthy treats & toys to reward your dog     for good behavior.
• Exercise your dog appropriately and consistently. Make it FUN!
• Use hand signals first, then pair it with the cue word.
• Integrate training into you and your dog’s daily routine.
• Have realistic expectations.
